Fugro currently seeks a UAE-national engineer for offshore ROV maintenance in Dubai. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with 0–2 years of engineering experience.

You will_support maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of ROV systems and associated equipment for project mobilisation and offshore deployment. You will conduct functional testing of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, maintain records, and support safety and quality in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a UAE national with a Family Book.
• 0-2 years of engineering or technical experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or control systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise in ROV systems, robotics, and offshore technologies.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability and willingness to work directly with equipment in a workshop environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ROV systems and associated equipment.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
• Prepare and test ROV systems, tooling, and ancillary equipment for project mobilisation and offshore deployment.
• Conduct functional testing of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset data, test reports, and technical documentation using company systems.
• Support inventory management, equipment tracking, and certification compliance activities.
• Participate in ROV refurbishment, upgrade, and technology improvement projects.
