Job summary

AtkinsRéalis invites applications for a Graduate Project Manager in Dubai, UAE. You will assist senior managers with project planning, coordination, financial control, risk management, and reporting, while supporting design reviews and coordinating sub-consultants.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary design team, ensuring technical coordination across disciplines and delivering projects on time. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential; immediate joiners preferred.

Overview

The Graduate Project Manager will assist senior managers in project planning, coordination, financial control, risk management, and reporting. The position also involves supporting design reviews, managing sub-consultants, and ensuring technical coordination across disciplines.

Your role

• Help in the overall management of the project.
• Support in the preparation of the project quality plan.
• Help in the preparation of progress reports.
• Aid in project planning and programme updates.
• Help the project manager in the financial control of the project.
• Maintain risk register.
• Instigate design reviews.
• Aid in the appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services.
• Help in the technical co-ordination with discipline heads.

About you

Technical Competencies

• Experience in Engineering Design.
• Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes.
• Reasonable knowledge of the following software: project planning software and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Behavioural Competencies

• Experience in working within a team.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.

Role Competencies

• Keen to gain experience in work winning to support professional development.
• Excellent coordination and organisation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of InDesign or other software being an asset.
• Attention to detail.
• Confident verbal and written communicator – ability to gather information and present it in a cohesive manner.
• Able to manage several tasks concurrently.
• Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
• Experience in an administrative/ project coordinator role.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• UAE National with family book is a must.
• Available to join immediately.
• Able to work full time 5 days a week (40hrs / week).
