Wood is hiring a Graduate Project Engineer – UAE National to join our Sharjah team. This entry-level role offers exposure to onshore capital projects, EPC management support, procurement coordination, and multi-discipline collaboration on market-leading assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports.
• Assist in reviewing technical documents, drawings and specifications.
• Track project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and HSE requirements.
• Participate in meetings and maintain minutes and action logs.
• Support risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when required.
• Assist procurement by coordinating material requests and vendor communications.
• Maintain project documentation and record management.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on improvements initiatives
