Wood in the UAE seeks a Graduate Project Engineer UAE National to support a portfolio of onshore capital projects within a Sharjah-based unit. You will work alongside engineers and project coordinators on design reviews, documentation, and progress tracking.

The role targets fresh graduates or engineers with up to 2 years of experience, emphasizing strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; UAE National encouraged.
• Fresh graduates or 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Assist in supporting onshore projects and coordination across teams.
• Support EPC contract management and project documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and procurement teams.
• Support progress tracking, reporting and change management.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graduate Project Engineer - UAE National to join our UAE Business Unit Our Clients and Projects Designing the future Transforming the world Wood has been awarded a general engineering contract to support an International Client operator to deliver a portfolio of onshore capital projects by provision of engineering and project management services including EPC contract management as well as Supply Chain Construction and Commissioning support from Wood Iraq and UAE offices Projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects and integrating low-carbon solutions to support our client s energy transition and emissions reduction goals Expected: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering : Mechanical Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of relevant engineering/project coordination experience.
