Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Procurement & Vendor Management professional to perform assigned procurement activities under supervision. You will collaborate across departments to ensure timely third-party services, materials and equipment, while managing supplier documents and invoicing per PO requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and up to two years of relevant experience.

Job Description

Purpose of the Position

Perform assigned procurement and subcontract management activities under the close supervision and guidance of the Procurement Manager or a senior Supply Management professional.

Key Accountabilities

• Comply with Company and Project purchasing policies and procedures, operating within delegated authority limits.
• Collaborate with various departments for both Corporate and Project Procurement to ensure third party services, material and equipment are provided on time.
• Support the identification, development, and recommendation of supply sources; solicit suppliers; receive quotations and bids; negotiate orders; and follow up, schedule, and expedite deliveries.
• Ensure supplier documentation, including insurance guarantees, is received in accordance with purchase-order requirements and stored securely.
• Ensure technical supplier documentation, including engineering information, calculations, drawings, schedules, instructions, and manuals—is received and distributed to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Liaise with Quality, Logistics, and Materials Management teams at supplier, customer, and contractor offices, as required, to support the timely delivery of goods.
• Obtain and process the documentation required to support approval of supplier invoices in accordance with purchase-order requirements.
