Job summary

Development Inc. in Dubai is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to support the Building Services (MEP) team in designing and documenting mechanical systems across projects. You will assist in drafting, sizing, and coordinating HVAC, plumbing and fire protection layouts under supervision.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role involves site visits, document control, and collaboration with architects, structural and other MEP disciplines to ensure integrated designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of calculation software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of local and international codes and standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of mechanical design drawings and documentation.
  • Support development of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection layouts under supervision.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations and system sizing as directed.
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure design integration.
  • Incorporate comments and redlines into drawings and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist in preparing technical documentation.
  • Attend site visits to gain exposure to installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Maintain organised project records in accordance with company standards.
