Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a rewarding career while working on innovative projects within a professional corporate environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited).
Recent graduates 2025 or 2026 eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
Minimum GPA 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
UAE Nationals with a family book considered as per UAE labour law.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software and industry-standard tools.
Conduct technical analyses and simulations to evaluate designs and optimize performance.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
Participate in design reviews and provide insights to improve product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedule and technical specs.
Maintain organized project files and documentation per company standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing processes and identifying optimization opportunities.
Perform calculations and data analysis related to mechanical systems and components.
Assist in testing and validation activities to ensure designs meet performance requirements.
