Job Purpose
To create a developmental opportunity for new trainees working in the CAMO environment to gain experience over a 2-year period. The program encompasses learning in areas such as AMP, Systems, Reliability, Warranty, Propulsion, APU, short/long term maintenance, Technical Records, Technical Library, logistics, Rotable management, and special projects.
The individual will learn how to evaluate and manage ADs and SBs, translating this knowledge into business control measures for the airline.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering development engineers or other CAMO staff in daily maintenance support, including performance review, request analysis, management reporting, corrective measures, and modifications.
- Participate in training programs as scheduled with the Air Arabia training Manager and the Head of Engineering.
- Use data from various sources to conduct technical root-cause analysis and troubleshooting under supervision, assessing aircraft efficiency and maintenance needs.
- Analyze technical reports to identify trends, highlight findings, and suggest solutions and proactive modifications.
- Identify corrective measures and modifications to address damages or airworthiness issues, recommending AMP adjustments with proper justification.
- Review technical documents for modifications or repairs, subject to management approval.
- Engage in cross-departmental training within CAMO, such as Projects and Warranty.
- Assist in closing occurrence reports under supervision.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and events internally and externally.
- Engage in personal development activities as advised by the training Manager and Head of Engineering.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- A degree in Aircraft Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, Aeronautical, or equivalent (LAE), or a higher diploma/certificate with relevant experience.
- Proficient in technology systems, Microsoft Office, MRO systems, and web research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Work Experience
- 2-5 years in a university program specializing in Aviation.
- Experience with aircraft airworthiness programs and regulations, such as CAMO requirements.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and systems.
- Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authority regulations, preferably GCAA.
- Familiarity with EASA Part 145, Part 21, and Subpart M requirements.
- Experience working in dynamic team environments.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Flight Operations is a plus.
- Cost-conscious with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support company objectives through interpersonal skills.
