Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks a Graduate Cost Estimation to support project teams across budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, ensuring delivery within approved cost baselines and strong cost control.

You will perform variance analysis, prepare dashboards, and collaborate with planning, procurement and construction to collect cost data and explain trends to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Cost Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience on engineering, construction, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in cost control and reporting tools such as SAP, Oracle, Excel.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and variance analysis.
• Experience in EPC, PMC, or Owner’s Engineer environments preferred.
• Certifications such as CCP, PMP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and forecasts.
• Track costs, monitor expenditures, and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and dashboards.
• Support change management with cost impact evaluation.
• Communicate cost performance to project teams and management.
