Job summary

Wasl Asset Management Group in Dubai seeks a Governance & Compliance - Manager to drive the compliance program, define policies, and steer digital adoption across operations. You will lead risk assessment, audits, and cross-functional governance initiatives to ensure adherence to laws and internal standards.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership, and collaboration with executives, HR, IT, and external regulators to strengthen Wasl's governance framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive governance, compliance, risk management experience.
• Experience in regulated industries; real estate sector in Dubai advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of global/regional regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with AML, data protection, anti-bribery, sanctions, governance.

Responsibilities

• Policy Definition & Governance: Develop and maintain an enterprise policy framework across functions.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Integrate risk management into core processes with ERM.
• Monitoring, Auditing & Reporting: Design monitoring and internal control systems; report to senior management.
• Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve processes and KRIs.
• Communications & Working Relationships: Engage with CXOs and regulators to ensure compliance.
