Job summary

Emirates is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the backlog for multiple product engineering teams, owning story content, acceptance criteria, and prioritization across backlogs.

You will ensure non-functional requirements and technical debt are captured, refined, and prioritized, while contributing to PI planning and product management meetings. A strong customer-centric mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3) in IT.
• 5+ years of total experience in Information Technology including 2+ years working as a Product Owner/Manager in a team-facing capacity.
• Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified.
• Demonstrated technical or domain expertise in the Emirates IT domain.
• Well-versed with the tools for Product Management in software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Owns the backlog and acceptance criteria across team backlogs.
• Prioritizes work aligning with PI goals and business objectives.
• Captures non-functional requirements and technical debt across sprints.
• Contributes to PI demos and product management meetings.
• Maintains feature quality within boundaries, flags risks and dependencies.
• Defines metrics to measure success and enables future BAU iterations.
