Job summary

Yello in Dubai seeks a seasoned tax professional to lead and manage all tax matters for the Group's international operations. You will oversee corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other direct and indirect tax obligations across jurisdictions.

The role requires a deep understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, plus experience with transfer pricing and cross-border transactions. Frequent international travel to Africa and Asia-Pacific may be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8–12 years of relevant tax experience.
• Experience in Big 4 or multinational group environment.
• Strong background in international taxation and cross-border transactions.
• Solid understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Experience with transfer pricing documentation and TP principles.
• Knowledge of withholding taxes and international tax treaties.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone role.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing external advisors and tax authority relationships.
• Travel to Africa and APAC on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax matters across the Group's international operations.
• Oversee corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and other tax obligations.
• Coordinate UAE corporate tax and VAT compliance.
• Manage tax reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Review cross-border transactions and international business activities.
• Advise on intercompany structures and planning for growth.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking.
• Liaise with external tax advisors on returns, audits and regulatory matters.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the business.
• Travel regularly to international locations as required.
