Johnson Matthey is seeking a Senior Global Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Manager to lead IT, HR and Professional Services categories. This is a fixed-term contract across flexible UK, Lithuania, and India locations, with a global, matrix environment driving strategic value and supplier partnerships.

The role centers on negotiating high-value contracts, shaping category strategies and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver total cost of ownership improvements across a diverse supplier base.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating high-value IT/HR/PS contracts.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver end-to-end sourcing and category strategies.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders within a global, matrix organisation.
• Experience managing strategic suppliers and driving measurable performance improvements.
• Advanced analytical and commercial modelling skills with a focus on value-based decisions.
• Experience implementing sourcing strategies across regions to realise contract value.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value sourcing initiatives and negotiations across IT, HR and Professional Services.
• Define and execute global category strategies to drive value, manage risk and shape market engagement.
• Act as a senior commercial advisor to stakeholders, influencing sourcing decisions and demand management.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Deliver total cost of ownership optimisation through commercial modelling and structured contract approaches.
• Identify and unlock value opportunities using market insight, supplier capability and industry trends.
