Job description

At STARTRADER, we combine trusted foundations with advanced technology to empower traders worldwide. As a global brand operating across 200+ regions and regulated by leading authorities, we provide secure access to 1,000+ CFDs through platforms such as MT4, MT5, STAR Copy, and the award-winning STARTRADER app.

Our international presence is strengthened through strategic collaborations, including our role as an Official Partner of the NBA, Official Partner of Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, and Official Partner of the UAE National Cricket Team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Since our launch in 2019, our vision has been to make trading more accessible, trusted, and empowering - shaping both our products and our culture as we continue to grow by listening, evolving, and supporting our global community.

STARTRADER is the brand representing a network of regulated and licensed entities across various jurisdictions, each authorised to provide specific financial services in compliance with local regulations. STARTRADER Global Financial Consultation & Financial Analysis (Dubai-based entity) is licensed and regulated by the Capital Market Authority in the UAE to conduct promotion and client introduction activities only. All trading services are provided by STARTRADER entities regulated in other jurisdictions

Role Overview:

Social at STARTRADER is active in every region but has never had a single global owner, and we are hiring the person who will be it — strategy, platform mix, publishing decisions, and accountability for what it delivers.

It is not a calendar-keeping role. We are rebuilding social as an AI-assisted operating system: people own judgement, brand voice and final approval; AI carries research, drafting, adaptation, localisation and reporting. You will build that system and you will have the authority to run it.

Key Responsibilities:

Global strategy and a platform mix that fits each market

  • The global social strategy and the calendar behind it, executed across global regions in the languages we publish in.
  • A per-market platform mix - Instagram, TikTok and X in one region, Telegram, Line or Zalo in another, WhatsApp Channels, YouTube, LinkedIn or Discord elsewhere - instead of one global template pushed everywhere.
  • The line between central and local: brand voice, standards, measurement and the approval path are set centrally; language, cultural nuance and topical picks belong in-market.
  • The publishing decision. Brand guardrails and compliance sign-off are hard gates. Taste is not a gate.

A content engine, not a posting schedule

  • Programme our in-house research desk - daily market analysis, the economic calendar, NFP and CPI releases, the quarterly outlook - into repeatable social formats, so expert content reaches an audience instead of expiring unused.
  • Turn the sponsorship partnerships into always-on programmes rather than announcement posts: know the competition formats and fixture calendars, and brief the team ahead of the moment, not after it.
  • Run a fast lane for breaking market news and live sport - a published SLA ?target: live within 10 mins? with pre-agreed risk limits, so speed never sits waiting in a full approval queue.
  • Hold one brand voice and one visual standard across every market and language, working with Design, Content, PR, KOL and the regional teams.

AI as production capacity

  • Design, document and own AI-assisted workflows across the whole cycle: listening and trend detection, ideation, first-draft copy, multi-size adaptation, localisation into 10+ languages, performance reporting and insight summaries.
  • Hands-on with LLM tooling beyond prompting - reusable prompt libraries, custom GPTs or projects, agent and skill workflows - maintained as versioned team assets that are documented and handed over, not personal tricks that leave when you do.
  • Brief and quality-control generative creative (image, video, voice, avatar) to produce social-first variants at volume - and judge when AI output is not good enough to publish under a regulated brand.
  • Localise with AI translation plus native-speaker final review, working from a shared terminology source of truth rather than ad-hoc translation.
  • Automate recurring reporting so the team spends its time deciding, not assembling slides.
  • Define and enforce the human-in-the-loop matrix: what publishes automatically, what needs human review, what requires compliance sign-off. Being able to write that matrix is part of the job, not a nice-to-have.
  • Report the productivity delta honestly - cost per asset, time to publish, output per person - alongside the engagement and quality metrics that constrain them.

Performance and measurement

  • Own the numbers end to end: reach and engagement, qualified traffic, social-sourced registrations and funded accounts. Reporting stops at business outcome, not at impressions.
  • Enforce one campaign-naming and UTM convention across social, CRM and paid, so any post can be traced through to what it produced.
  • Dashboards leadership can act on: short, quantified, with a decision attached.
  • Paid social: creative, messaging and audience thinking sit with you; budget, bidding and attribution sit with Performance Marketing. You are expected to make that partnership work without either side guessing.

Compliance and risk in a regulated market

  • Risk warnings and disclaimers applied correctly on-image, in-caption and in-video, in the approved wording for each language and jurisdiction.
  • No performance promises, guaranteed returns or income claims, and no activity beyond what each entity is licensed to do.
  • Influencer and KOL disclosure requirements, plus the financial-services advertising policies of Meta, Google, TikTok and X - including what they restrict for CFDs.
  • An auditable trail: every published asset traceable back to an approved version.
  • Crisis communications and reputation management on social, with an escalation path agreed before you need it.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 6+ years in social media, including 3+ years running social across multiple markets or globally.
  • Experience in forex, fintech, crypto or another regulated industry where compliance sits in the publishing path.
  • A track record of growing channels in more than one language and more than one region - with the numbers to show it.
  • You have built with AI, not just used it. Walk us through a workflow you put into production: what it does, who uses it, what it replaced, what measurably changed.
  • You have a position on where AI stops. In regulated finance, knowing what not to automate matters as much as knowing what to.
  • Hands-on with paid social, community management and crisis response.
  • Fluent in both social and business analytics - Sprout Social or equivalent, native platform analytics, GA4. You pull your own data.
  • Comfortable owning a number and reporting it to leadership without decoration.
  • Professional-level English, and based in or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Nice to have:

  • A second market language: Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
  • Sponsorship or sports-marketing activation at scale - you have carried a partnership beyond the announcement post.
  • KOL and influencer programme management.
  • Community building for a trading audience on Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp Channels.
  • Light scripting or no-code automation (Sheets, Looker Studio, Python, Make or Zapier) - enough to build a pipeline yourself, not only to specify one.
