Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an AML Compliance Officer to lead multiple teams in a Dubai, UAE environment. The role requires 15+ years in FinCrime, AML certification, and deep regulatory knowledge to drive strategy, policy, and risk management across the function.

Excellent senior-level communication is essential for internal and external engagement. You will oversee policy development, training, and coordination with Internal Audit and Compliance teams, while managing a diversified workforce

Qualifications

• 15+ years FinCrime experience, preferably UAE or Middle East region.
• AML certification is required.
• Prior work in a financial institution with AML focus.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with proactive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations, risks and controls.
• Experience designing and implementing AML programs and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain AML policies and practices; ensure controls operate effectively across entities.
• Develop and improve Governance and Escalation framework for timely senior management updates.
