Job summary
Eaton is seeking a Global Principal Electrical Design Engineer for the Data Center Segment in Dubai. You will act as the senior technical authority for electrical system design across global data center programs, providing leadership from concept to closeout and ensuring safety, compliance, and scalability.
You will influence global design direction, support hyperscale and enterprise projects, and collaborate with regional teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with significant exposure to mission-critical facilities and data center environments.
Responsibilities
- Act as global electrical design authority for data center portfolio.
- Lead design of complex electrical infrastructure for hyperscale and enterprise data centers from concept through execution.
- Provide guidance on MV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS architecture, protection and coordination, grounding, and system resilience strategies.
- Develop, implement, and govern global electrical design standards, reference architectures, and quality frameworks.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary global engineering environment and support bids and execution phases.
