Job summary

Ampersand World seeks an experienced FX trader/risk manager to handle spot, forward, and hedging transactions across global currencies from Dubai. You will monitor exposures, provide market insights, and craft strategies to protect profitability in a fast-moving market.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in FX trading or risk management, strong currency market knowledge, and an entrepreneurial mindset. English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in FX trading or risk management, preferably in commodities or a trading environment.
• Deep understanding of global currency markets, risk management tools, and pricing mechanisms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute spot, forward, and hedging FX transactions across global currencies.
• Monitor currency exposures and provide market insights to trading desks and management.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure profitability and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with counterparties and liquidity providers.
• Contribute actively to the group’s trading and treasury strategies in a fast-moving market.
