Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United Arab Emirates to provide on-site and field support for Sundyne pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment. The role includes installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, RCFA, training, and mentoring, with extensive travel to domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering with at least five years of field experience.
• Two-year technical degree with at least three years of field experience.
• A minimum of four years of relevant field experience without a degree.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
• Strong technical writing skills for service reports and RCFA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rebuilding of Sundyne API and non-API equipment.
• Supervise customer craft personnel during on-site work to ensure safety, accuracy, and adherence to OEM/API specs.
• Prepare thorough field reports and ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with customer personnel, channel partners, and internal Sundyne teams.
• Provide technical expertise on centrifugal pumps, compressors, controls, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
• Analyze equipment hardware and operating conditions to identify failure modes and ensure OEM compliance.
• Participate in RCFA activities with internal teams, customers, and channel partners.
• Troubleshoot field units using control-system logic and verify proper operation.
• Create and manage service cases in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Perform independent warranty evaluations at customer sites and on returned hardware.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain satisfaction.
• Follow safety regulations and complete Sundyne job-safety training.
• Train customers and channel partners through quarterly factory training courses.
• Mentor and train junior Field Service Engineers.
