Job summary

j. awan & partners, a fast-growing GRC consultancy headquartered in Dubai, seeks a Senior Manager – Compliance to lead regulatory compliance and AML/CTF obligations across client mandates in the region.

You will implement best-in-class frameworks, conduct ongoing monitoring, and liaison with regulators, reporting to the Director of Compliance. You will drive business growth by expanding the compliance practice across our jurisdictions, strengthening client trust and elevating our regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years of overall industry experience, with at least 4 years in compliance roles within financial services.
• Significant demonstrable experience dealing with regulatory authorities within the region.
• Direct experience creating and implementing regulatory compliance programs within a successful financial services organisation.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Delivery: provide ongoing compliance and AML support to clients.
• Audit & Monitoring: coordinate internal and external audits and identify control weaknesses.
• Business Development & Brand Representation: support the senior team in originating new business and represent the firm at events.
• Leadership & Communication: communicate risks to management and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Team & Culture Contribution: promote company culture and mentor junior team members.
