Job summary

Kings College Hospital Dubai is seeking a specialized Gastroenterology Motility and Procedure Nurse. The RN will lead active participation in GI motility testing, patient education, and collaborative care with gastroenterologists to ensure accurate testing and compassionate patient experiences.

Responsibilities include performing and assisting with motility studies, breath tests, endoscopy prep support, patient monitoring, documentation, and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• UAE DHA license as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and RN registration.
• Registration as RN from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Gastroenterology RN certification (CGRN) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with GI motility tests such as esophageal manometry and pH impedance.
• Manages breath tests and post-procedure care.
• Monitors patient vitals and manages adverse reactions.
• Maintains GI equipment and coordinates with biomedical engineers.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and prep.
• Documents findings clearly for gastroenterologist review.
