Job summary

HVAC Industries in Abu Dhabi is seeking a duct fabrication operator to read fabrication drawings, measure and cut GI sheets, and operate multiple fabrication machines to assemble HVAC duct components. You will verify dimensions, inspect finished ductwork, and ensure all items meet design specifications and quality standards.

The role requires following production schedules, maintaining tools and equipment, and adhering to PPE and safety procedures while minimizing waste and supporting smooth

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble duct sections, fittings, elbows, reducers, transitions, and other HVAC duct components.
• Verify dimensions to ensure ductwork meets tolerances and quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects before dispatch.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and minimize material waste.
• Assist with packing and loading finished ductwork for delivery when required.
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and production staff to improve productivity.

Job description

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape GI sheets using hand tools and fabrication machines.
Operate equipment such as:

• Press Brake
• Pittsburgh Lock Machine
• Beading Machine
• Flanging Machine
• Rolling Machine
• Spot Welding Machine (where applicable)

Assemble duct sections, fittings, elbows, reducers, transitions, and other HVAC duct components while installing locks, seams, flanges, corners, and reinforcements according to approved specifications. Verify dimensions to ensure fabricated ductwork meets design tolerances and quality standards, and inspect finished products for accuracy and defects before dispatch. Follow daily and weekly production schedules, maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and report any faults promptly. Ensure the proper handling and storage of GI sheets and finished duct sections while adhering to workplace safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area, minimize material waste through efficient use of raw materials, assist with packing and loading finished ductwork for delivery when required, and collaborate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and production staff to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
