Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Abu Dhabi to provide geotechnical engineering services meeting local authority requirements, review investigations, soil improvements, dewatering, and design parameters per Abu Dhabi code.

The role requires reviewing reports, attending technical meetings, delivering high-quality work, and leading QA within an engineering team while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Geotechnical Engineering
• Experience with geotechnical codes and local regulations (BS, ASTM, AASHTO)
• Great interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the delivery of the highest quality of work to SOCOTEC clients
• Deliver services within the timeframes dictated by the client and SOCOTEC
• Ensure that work is carried out as per the relevant instructions

• Comply with SOCOTEC's group policies and procedures
• Achieve and maintain the highest qualification levels determined by SOCOTEC for the relevant consultancy disciplines
• Take an active and full role in the quality assurance of services delivered by SOCOTEC through document review, supervision, audit and assessment of other staff members providing support and leadership to the engineering team
