Job summary

Atain is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to bridge cutting-edge AI with real-world business needs in Abu Dhabi. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate enterprise challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

You will design, develop, and deploy ML and GenAI solutions, including NLP, LLM/RAG, and intelligent automation, integrating models with enterprise data and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, forward-deployed AI/ML Engineer with a passion for bridging the gap between cutting-edge artificial intelligence and real-world business needs. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional business and engineering teams to translate complex enterprise challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build & Deploy: Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning, Generative AI, LLM/RAG, NLP, and agentic AI solutions.
• Develop AI Applications: Create intelligent applications including virtual assistants, recommendation engines, and end-to-end intelligent automation systems.
• Rapid Prototyping & Productionization: Quickly prototype, validate, and scale AI solutions from conception to production in collaboration with business and engineering teams.
• System Integration: Seamlessly integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, internal applications, and core business workflows.
• Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy, scale, and monitor AI solutions across major Hyperscaler cloud platforms.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Programming & Fundamentals: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and core Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks.
• GenAI & NLP Expertise: Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, NLP techniques, and vector search/embeddings.
• Frameworks & Tooling: Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face (or equivalent ecosystem tools).
• Engineering & MLOps: Experience building robust APIs, containerization using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Mindset: Strong Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE)-style problem-solving and rapid solution engineering capabilities.
• Industry Preference: Prior experience or domain knowledge in the airline, aviation, or travel industry is strongly preferred.
