Responsibilities include preoperative assessments, postoperative care, emergency case management, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and education for patients and families while maintaining detailed medical records and adhering to infection

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Relevant clinical experience in general surgery.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with general surgical conditions.
• Perform general surgical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and follow-up.
• Manage emergency surgical cases and provide timely clinical interventions.
• Perform minor and major surgical procedures within own scope of competence.
• Collaborate with other specialists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and recovery plans.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
