Job summary

Via Medica in association with International SOS seeks a dedicated General Practitioner to join a prestigious university campus in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver comprehensive primary care to students, faculty and staff, manage acute and chronic conditions, and promote wellness across the campus.

The role requires a UAE MBBS/MD, a valid DOH license, and bilingual fluency in Arabic and English. Minimum 3 years UAE experience, with preference for university medical center experience, is expected.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent required.
• Valid DOH License as General Practitioner (mandatory).
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in the UAE.
• Experience in a school or university medical centre preferred.
• Experience in Medical Centers, Emergency, and/or Pediatric Departments is required.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as required.
• Promote preventive healthcare through health education and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and wellbeing of the university community.
