Job summary

Black & GreyHR is seeking a General Manager - Store Management to lead warehouse and store operations for a premier UAE construction organization. The role requires 20+ years in materials inventory management, logistics and supply chain across multiple locations, with 8–10 years in senior leadership directing large teams.

You will drive inventory strategies, ensure HSE compliance, and collaborate with Procurement, Project Management and Finance to optimize material flow and reporting.

• Lead process improvements, digitalization initiatives and best practices in store management.
• Mentor store management personnel to drive excellence and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of expertise in construction materials inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, supported by a proven track record of leading large, multi-location teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end store and warehouse operations across project sites and central warehouses.
• Design and implement robust inventory control strategies to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
• Oversee the full cycle of receiving, storage, issuance, and distribution of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and Logistics teams to facilitate efficient material flow.
• Champion process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and industry best practices in store management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store management personnel to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive management reports for senior leadership review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in store management, warehousing, or supply chain operations within the construction sector.
• At least 8–10 years in a senior leadership capacity, with demonstrated responsibility for managing large teams and multiple geographically dispersed locations.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
