Job summary

Abu Alnaga Construction is a senior leadership opportunity in the UAE, seeking a General Manager (Engineering & Construction) to drive operations, growth, and delivery of large-scale projects across the UAE.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, 15+ years in construction with leadership, and a proven track record with Dubai/UAE firms. Lead strategy, manage teams, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of construction industry experience with senior leadership roles.
• Extensive experience with reputable Dubai/UAE construction and engineering companies.
• Proven expertise in project management, contract administration, budgeting, and operational excellence.
• Strong commercial acumen in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Sound knowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and market practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction and engineering operations.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the business.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee project teams, engineering departments, and site operations.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, including clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Drive business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
