Due to their rapidly expanding business we have been commissioned to find a General Manager for the construction side of their business.

All of the key responsibilities you would expect to see in the job spec of a GM position are there (such as profit and loss management, staff supervision, improving business prospects ) but more interestingly our client is looking for a special individual who in addition can offer vision, inspiration, passion, optimism and can enthuse trust from all they come into contact with. Through their natural openness to others, their objectivity and their enthusiasm for feedback the successful candidate will help build a balanced team with a positive spirit who puts the success of the team ahead of any individual interests.

This is a hands on role with daily activities to include:

To qualify for a screening interview you will need to be able to demonstrate 20+ years of hands on construction industry experience and a minimum of 8+ years in a similar management role in the UAE. Ideally, you will have experience in design details, the detailed engineering program, the entire civil, mechanical and electrical construction work and the design, creation and installation of furniture.
