Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the nursing home/elderly care, ensuring smooth delivery of care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to meet occupancy, financial, and quality objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
Financial & Business Management
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance, implement cost controls, and identify revenue-enhancement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure the facility meets or exceeds standards for resident care, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality improvement programs and audits.
Team Leadership & Human Resources
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing management and care team.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and employee performance management.
Community & External Relations
  • Represent the facility in the local community and with healthcare partners.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, regulators, and community organizations to enhance the facility’s reputation and referral network.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of management experience in a nursing home, long-term care, or healthcare facility setting.
