Job summary

Key responsibilities include AP/AR/GL, preparing statements, bank and intercompany reconciliations, budgets, and IFRS adherence. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Tagalog language (written and spoken) - required for internal documentation and communication purposes.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate VAT filing in compliance with UAE FTA requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset register and process depreciation entries.
• Liaise with vendors, procurement and operations teams on financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies and procedures.

Role Overview

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2 4 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficiency in Tagalog language (written and spoken) - required for internal documentation and communication purposes
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential
• Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP Oracle or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA ACCA CMA or equivalent professional qualification (completed or in progress)
