The role requires proven experience teaching Physics to GCSE/IGCSE, strong UK curriculum knowledge, and native-level English. Start date August/September 2026; full-time, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Native English communication skills required to deliver curriculum effectively.
• Deep familiarity with British National Curriculum frameworks and exam board requirements (AQA/Edexcel/CIE).
• Experience teaching Physics up to GCSE/IGCSE is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, rigorous Physics lessons up to GCSE/IGCSE.
• Promote STEM, inquiry, and practical lab skills.
• Adapt teaching methods for diverse student body across co-educational junior and gender-segregated senior classes.
• Set formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare Key Stage 4 students for external GCSE/IGCSE exams (AQA/Edexcel/CIE).
• Collaborate with Science department to share resources and maintain safety in labs.
