Job summary

Müller's Solutions is looking for a skilled Google Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our cloud security framework on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role you will identify vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, manage IAM, monitor security alerts, and coordinate incident response to safeguard our cloud architecture and data.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of cloud security experience on GCP, and knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically within Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, frameworks, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with GCP security tools and services, including Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and Cloud Identity.
• Expertise in IAM, data encryption, and security configurations in GCP.
• Familiarity with network security principles and solutions, such as firewalls and VPNs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls for GCP services and resources.
• Perform risk assessments and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and remediation priorities.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents across the cloud environment.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud operations.
• Implement IAM policies to control access to GCP resources effectively.
• Conduct regular security assessments and collaborate with development teams for secure coding.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud security threats and trends.
• Provide security training and awareness for engineering teams to promote a security-first culture.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain documentation of security policies, architecture, and processes related to GCP.
