Job summary

Müller's Solutions is seeking a talented Google Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and services. You will work to ensure performance, security, and scalability of cloud-hosted applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive cloud initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in cloud engineering on GCP, strong scripting skills (Python/Go/Java), and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture within Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of GCP services including App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Java.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and security practices in cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication for collaboration and presenting technical information.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP resources such as Compute Engine and Cloud Storage.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Oversee VPC networking configurations and shared services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment.
• Monitor GCP performance, optimize resource usage and costs.
• Apply robust security practices across GCP resources.
• Integrate GCP services with existing systems via APIs and cloud functions.
• Collaborate with DevOps to streamline workflows and support development.
• Prepare architecture docs, runbooks, and best practices guidelines.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues and enhance system performance.
