Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a dynamic medical team in Qassim. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders, perform advanced endoscopic procedures, and contribute to clinical excellence, education, and departmental leadership.

🩺 Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI conditions including IBD, liver disease, GERD, and functional bowel disorders.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP).
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to training programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and SCFHS standards.
  • Participate in on‑call duties and emergency response for GI‑related cases.
  • Engage in departmental quality improvement initiatives and CME activities.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology (e.g., Saudi Board, Arab Board, American/Canadian Board, or European equivalent).
  • Valid Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post‑specialization experience in gastroenterology.
  • Proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques and GI diagnostics.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
