Job summary

JA Hatta Fort Hotel is seeking a dedicated Gardener to support the upkeep and enhancement of our landscaped gardens and outdoor areas in the pristine Hajar Mountains near Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of gardening or landscaping experience, solid knowledge of plant care, irrigation, pruning, and lawn maintenance, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, follow safety practices, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of gardening or landscaping experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation, pruning, planting, and lawn maintenance.
• Able to identify plant diseases and pests and take corrective action.
• Experience operating and maintaining basic gardening tools safely.
• Good understanding of horticultural and landscaping practices.
• Physically fit to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Nestled within the stunning Hajar Mountains, JA Hatta Fort Hotel is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Gardener to support the upkeep and enhancement of our landscaped gardens and outdoor areas.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of gardening or landscaping experience, preferably within a hotel, resort, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, pruning, planting, and lawn maintenance.
• Ability to identify common plant diseases and pests and take appropriate corrective action.
• Experience in operating and maintaining basic gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Good understanding of horticultural and landscaping practices.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

Professional Profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification or training in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Gardening is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage of fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening chemicals.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices related to landscaping and grounds maintenance.
