Job summary

Ascend Innovations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is seeking a Game Development Instructor Intern to support our hands-on learning programs. This paid, on-site internship targets students and fresh graduates with a passion for games and teaching.

You will work with UEFN, Minecraft Education, and Unity, assist with game prototypes and student projects, and help learners during practical sessions. Strong communication and patience with young learners are essential.

Qualifications

• Interest in game development and teaching.
• Good communication skills and patience with learners.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blender/3D modelling, coding/scripting, or personal game projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with game prototypes and real-time projects.

Ascend is looking for a Game Development Instructor Intern to support our game development and hands‑on learning programs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This is a paid, in-person internship suitable for students, fresh graduates, aspiring game developers, and gaming enthusiasts with basic practical experience.

The intern will work with UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), Minecraft Education, and Unity, and assist with game prototypes, real‑time projects, and hands‑on student projects.

The role will also involve supporting learners during practical sessions, explaining basic game development concepts in a simple and engaging manner, and helping students develop their projects.

The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in game development, gaming, and teaching, with good communication skills and the ability to work patiently with children and young learners.

Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blender/3D modelling, coding/scripting, game design, or personal game development projects will be an added advantage.
