Job summary

Workato in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant responsible for full accounting cycle, preparing financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, at least 3 years' experience, GAAP knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Salary is 1,800 AED per month; foreign applicants considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required
• At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Knowledge of GAAP principles is essential
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word & Excel) is needed
• Good communication skills both verbal & written is required

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports according to GAAP standards
• Prepare journal entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
• Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying and posting account transactions
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit & loss statement, etc.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions
• Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and reports by assembling and analyzing data; identifying trends; recommending actions
• Audit documents such as invoices, purchase orders, receipts etc., to ensure accuracy
• Manage accounts payable/receivable activities including issuing payments timely and issuing invoices accurately

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi.
