Job summary

Mashreqbank PSC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Treasury/FX Operations specialist to validate FX and Money Market products, manage settlements, and supervise payment processes. The role requires handling SWIFT messages, daily reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with CP conditions.

The candidate will monitor Nostro items, perform cashflow and daily settlements, and support Islamic financing validations, with close attention to value dates and confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Validate Foreign Exchange and Money Market products and ensure accuracy.
• Update SSI and complete payments according to currency cutoff.
• Monitor CP conditions for corporate FX customers related to trades.
• Knowledge of CLS trade settlement system and applicable processes.
• Perform daily payment reconciliation between booking systems and gateways.
• Handle MT103/MT202/MT300/MT320/MT600 messages and related confirmations.
• Validate Islamic Murabaha, Wakala, Reverse Murabaha trade bookings and documentation.
• Monitor Nostro items daily and follow up on late payments with counterparties.
• Conduct Money Market cashflow monitoring, daily settlements, and matches.
• Ensure FX payments are on correct Value Date and validate DVP settlements.
• Process commodity transactions and settlements with timely confirmations.
• Maintain control across deal flows between T24 and DealHub.
• Verify transmission copies of payments and receipts for on-time delivery.
• Support treasury accounting related to FX and Money Market products.
