Job summary

Namasys Analytics in Dubai seeks a mid-senior Finance ERP specialist with 6+ years of experience, including 4+ years configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, to lead configuration across GL, AP, AR, and other modules.

You will run workshops, design COA, SLAs, and workflows; prepare FDDs and BR100s; coordinate with tech teams for reports and data conversions; ensure multi-country localization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (MBA/CA/CPA a plus).
• 6+ years of overall Finance/ERP experience, with 4+ years specifically configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Strong functional expertise in at least 3 of the following: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses.
• Hands-on experience configuring Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, and business units in Oracle Fusion.
• Solid understanding of subledger accounting (SLA) rules and accounting configurations.
• Experience configuring approval workflows (BPM/Approval Management) for Finance transactions.
• Strong knowledge of period close processes, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience preparing BR100 configuration documents, functional test scripts, and training materials.
• Familiarity with tax configurations (VAT/GST/withholding tax) and localization requirements.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion security concepts (data roles, duty roles) as they apply to Finance.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams on reporting, integration, and data conversion requirements.
• Experience with at least one full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementation (design through go-live).
• Strong Excel, financial analysis, and process documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with Finance stakeholders.
• Configure and set up Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses.
• Design and configure COA, ledgers, legal entities, and business units.
• Configure SLA rules for accurate accounting.
• Define and configure approval workflows for invoices, expense reports, journals, and payments.
• Lead month-end/quarter-end/year-end close processes and intercompany configurations.
• Prepare BR100s, FDDs, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with tech teams on reports (BIP/OTBI), data conversions (FBDI), and integrations.
• Support tax/localization configurations and multi-currency/multi-ledger needs.
• Conduct CRP sessions, functional testing, and UAT with business users.
• Troubleshoot issues in accounting entries, workflows, tax calculations, and period close.
• Provide guidance on P2P and O2C integrations related to Finance.
• Support security setup (data roles, duty roles) with security teams.
• Assess impact of Oracle updates on Finance configurations and recommend adjustments.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
