Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a capable fullstack developer to design, build, and deploy fintech web applications from UI to backend APIs. You will craft secure, scalable payment processing systems and reusable frontend components, while ensuring real-time communication via WebSockets and robust API design.

Join a team focussed on cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, and best-practice security. You will collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into solid technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional fullstack experience, preferably fintech or payments.
• Strong knowledge of backend frameworks: Express.js, Django, Spring Boot, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and real-time communication (WebSockets).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud infra (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Git/version control, CI/CD workflows, and modern deployment practices.
• Understanding of encryption, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and secure data handling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications end-to-end from UI to backend APIs.

• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Maintain documentation for systems, APIs, and workflows.
• Stay updated on fintech trends and security best practices.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications end-to-end from user interfaces to backend APIs and databases.

Build secure, scalable systems for payments processing, authentication, and data management.

Develop reusable frontend components using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.

Integrate external APIs and third-party services such as payment gateways, wallets, and financial data providers.

Ensure code quality through testing (unit, integration, and E2E) and peer code reviews.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Work closely with DevOps engineers on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Maintain proper documentation for systems, APIs, and workflows.

Stay updated on new technologies and security best practices relevant to fintech and fullstack development.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional fullstack development experience (preferably in fintech or payment platforms).

Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js, Django, Spring Boot, or FastAPI.
