Job summary

Crescent Petroleum in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Mid-Level Software Engineer to lead full-stack development and data analytics. You will design, build, and maintain core applications and APIs, bridging front-end and back-end work to deliver reliable software.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, cloud deployment on Azure, and data-driven decision support through dashboards in Power BI. You will collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in design, development, and end-to-end implementation of business applications.
• Strong DevSecOps experience with .NET, C#, React, Power BI, and SQL Server.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Node.js; MySQL/PostgreSQL; Laravel/CodeIgniter preferred.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and IaC, Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable core business applications and databases.
• Develop data models and CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure and Security teams.
• Create dashboards to communicate data trends and support BI needs.
• Address security requirements and perform testing procedures.
• Provide documentation and training for end users.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
