Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to design, build, and maintain the user-facing applications powering our product platform. You will ensure performance, accessibility, and usability while collaborating with backend, mobile, design, and QA teams.

You will translate UI designs into pixel-perfect interfaces, develop reusable components and design systems, and optimize for speed, cross‑browser compatibility, and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Redux, MobX, Zustand or similar state management.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Good communication in English.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to design, build, and maintain the user-facing applications and interfaces that power our product platform. You will play a key role in ensuring the performance, accessibility, and usability of our core systems while collaborating closely with backend, mobile, design, and QA teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications and user interfaces
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and backend services
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design/architecture discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in collaboration with backend and QA teams
• Implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to safeguard code quality
• Ensure adherence to web security, accessibility (WCAG), and performance best practices
• Document components, UI patterns, and frontend architecture for internal and cross-team reference

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• 6+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Extensive hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, MobX, Zustand, or similar)
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards
• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Good understanding of performance optimization, caching, and lazy-loading techniques
• Working knowledge of version control (Git) and code review workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js)
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma) and design system implementation
• Prior experience in a high-traffic, production-grade environment
