Sword Group is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to design, build and optimize enterprise-grade front-end applications using React and Vue.js. You will translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible interfaces and contribute to a scalable design system, while collaborating with backend, QA, UI/UX, security and DevOps teams.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with strong hands‑on experience in React, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API integration, responsive design, and enterprise front-end architecture.

The candidate will support the design, development, enhancement, revamp, and maintenance of platform front-end, ensuring secure, reliable, user‑friendly, and scalable delivery of correspondence management workflows, dashboards, forms, search capabilities, and user‑facing services.

The role requires strong technical capability, attention to UI quality, good understanding of front‑end architecture, and the ability to work closely with business, backend, QA, UI/UX, infrastructure, security, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end components using React, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Implement business requirements, correspondence workflows, approval journeys, dashboards, forms, search, filtering, tables, and data‑driven interfaces.
• Revamp and modernise existing interfaces to improve usability, consistency, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into responsive, production-ready interfaces.
• Build reusable components and contribute to a consistent front‑end design system for the platform.
• Develop responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices while supporting both Arabic RTL and English LTR interfaces.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, authentication mechanisms, and third‑party integrations.
• Implement proper validation, error handling, loading states, user feedback, and secure handling of user-facing data.
• Optimize front‑end performance for complex workflows, large datasets, dashboards, and enterprise‑scale usage.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, responsive behaviour, and front-end quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve UI, integration, performance, and production support issues.
• Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices, coding standards, and maintainable front‑end development practices.
• Support release planning, deployment activities, UAT, production fixes, and post-release validation.
• Assess technical feasibility, effort, dependencies, and risks for new front-end enhancements.
• Work closely with business users, backend developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, DevOps, infrastructure, security, vendors, and support teams.
• Maintain proper technical documentation for developed front‑end features, fixes, integrations, and releases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional front-end development experience, preferably in enterprise platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience building production applications with both React and Vue.js, including Vue Router, component lifecycle, reusable components, and front‑end application structure.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with UI component libraries such as Vuetify or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, authentication flows, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience building complex forms, dashboards, workflow screens, data tables, advanced search, filtering, and user profile interfaces.
• Experience developing and maintaining Arabic RTL and English LTR interfaces.
• Good understanding of front‑end architecture, state management, component design, and maintainability.
• Experience with performance optimisation, browser compatibility, accessibility, validation, error handling, and secure front‑end development practices.
• Experience with Git, source control practices, and modern development workflows.
• Experience with Figma and converting approved designs into production-ready interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable, usable, and maintainable front‑end solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with correspondence management systems, workflow platforms, case management systems, or government enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting production environments, release deployments, UAT, incident resolution, and post-release validation.
• Familiarity with security, auditability, logging, access control, and data confidentiality requirements in enterprise systems.
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications, third‑party integrations, and performance optimisation for large datasets.
• Experience working in Agile teams and coordinating with business users, technical teams, vendors, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned front-end deliverables, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to UI quality, consistency, usability, and maintainability.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, QA, UI/UX, security, and support teams.
