Job summary

James Douglas Middle East is seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to lead the architecture of scalable enterprise frontend platforms for industrial digital applications and dashboards. The role requires hands-on expertise in React and TypeScript, micro-frontend strategies, and modern frontend practices.

You will collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver secure, high-performance UI experiences, including 3D visualization where applicable.

Qualifications

12+ years of frontend software development experience.
Hands-on experience in React and TypeScript.
Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
Designing scalable, modular enterprise web applications.
Experience with Module Federation, single-spa, web components or similar.
Knowledge of frontend architecture patterns, reusable components, and shared libraries.
Experience with state management libraries and API integration (REST/GraphQL).
Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture Ownership: define and own frontend architecture for scalable enterprise platforms.
Architect and implement micro-frontend solutions enabling independent development and deployment of modules.
Define integration patterns between micro-frontends, shared shells, design systems, authentication services and APIs.
Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries to support long-term platform evolution.
Provide hands-on technical leadership via design/code reviews and mentorship.
