Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai seeks a Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team within a luxury hotel setting. Based on Sheikh Zayed Road, the role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, supervising supervisors and managers, and ensuring smooth, guest-centric operations.

The incumbent will uphold MOHG standards, oversee the Telecommunications and Business Centre, and drive guest satisfaction while coordinating with Department Heads for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment; Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Clear communication in English is required; second language is a plus.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Front Office Department in Dubai, the Front Office Manager will provide supervision, direction, and leadership in the Front Office in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by the hotel. Assist the Department Heads in all areas to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

As a Front Office Manager, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Supervise and assist Assistant Front Office Manager, Duty Managers, Supervisors and Front Office Agents with their duties.
• Oversee the Telecommunications Department (duties and operations) as well as Business Centre operations.
• Ensure and perfect a warm and genuine arrival and departure experience.
• Maintain a Front Office information folder with up-to-date information on rates, promotional programs, special benefit cards, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group details, etc.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with the applicable MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs).
• Monitor daily and ensure Fans of MO sign-ups targets are exceeded and follow up with up the team regarding progress.

As a Front Office Manager, weexpectfrom you:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years ‘experience working in a luxury hotel environment. Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Clear communication: effective verbal and written communication skills in English is required. Proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
• Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Prior experience with PSMS is an advantage.
