Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society (MAIR Group) is seeking fast-moving Fresh Produce Attendants to manage daily vegetable inventory, operate weighing scales, and sustain freshness across our grocery aisles.

You will unpack crates, arrange fruit displays, monitor expiration dates, and keep floors clean to ensure a safe, inviting shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Product Knowledge: memorize codes for hundreds of different local and imported vegetable types to prevent long customer queues.
• Cold Endurance: long hours arranging inventory inside walk-in refrigerators requires thick jackets.
• Customer Service: smile politely and help shoppers, including the elderly, pick the best produce.

Responsibilities

• Unpack heavy wooden crates of imported seasonal fruits arriving from morning delivery trucks.
• Build massive pyramid displays of fresh oranges and apples to attract shoppers.
• Check expiration dates on packed fruit bowls and remove items if any discoloration is noticed.
• Sweep the wet grocery floor continuously to prevent slips and keep aisles safe.

• Check the printed expiration dates on packed cut-fruit bowls and remove them instantly if the pineapple or melon looks slightly discolored.
• Sweep the wet grocery floor continuously to prevent shoppers from slipping on dropped grapes or wet spinach leaves.

Rules for Selection:

• Product Knowledge: Memorizing the exact digital scale codes for hundreds of different local and imported vegetable types to prevent long customer queues.
• Cold Endurance: Spending long hours arranging fresh inventory inside the giant walk-in refrigerator rooms requires wearing thick company jackets.
