Job summary

EXPO CITY seeks a Freelance Education Facilitator to deliver and supervise a range of educational programs across pavilions, tailored to school groups, university groups, corporate teams, children and families.

You will help deliver engaging demonstrations, immersive workshops, and edutaining activities, while mastering content on sustainability, robotics, culture and gender equality, and collaborating with the Visitor Experience team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workshop facilitation and delivering educational programs.
• Good engagement with children and diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (reading and writing).

Responsibilities

• Educational Program Delivery: Facilitate a wide array of educational programs for various groups including school, university, corporate teams, children and families.
• Program Execution: Conduct engaging demonstrations, science shows, and workshops with storytelling, role-playing and puppetry; design team-building activities for corporate delegates.
• Content Mastery: Develop proficiency to communicate topics such as Sustainability, Robotics, Mobility, Culture and Gender Equality.
• Visitor Engagement: Enhance engagement through interactive activities ensuring high-quality experiences.
• Training: Undergo intensive training before delivering programs; ensure readiness to execute all programs.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work with Programme Delivery & Operations Manager; provide feedback and reports on program effectiveness.

Job Purpose

The Facilitator in the Education& Culture Department plays a crucial role in supporting the lead manager toensure the delivery of exceptional educational experiences for all visitors to the pavilions. This position isintegral to the department's mission of enhancing visitor engagement, fostering a culture of learning andoptimizing visitation rates.

Main Responsibilities

Educational Program Delivery: Provide comprehensive facilitation of a wide array of educationalprograms, including internal and outreach programs. Tailor these programs to diverse audience groupssuch as school groups, university groups, corporate teams, children, and families participating in variousdepartmental initiatives.

Program Execution:

• o Conduct engaging demonstrations, captivating science shows, and immersive workshopsfeaturing interactive elements like storytelling, role-playing, and puppetry.
• o Facilitate engaging team-building activities specifically designed for corporate delegates,ensuring that these activities align with corporate objectives and provide meaningfulexperiences.
• o Deliver edutaining (educational plus entertaining) workshops specifically designed for ExpoCity Dubai Camps. These workshops should engage and entertain while imparting valuableeducational content.

Content Mastery: Develop proficiency in understanding and effectively communicating topics includingSustainability, Robotics, Mobility, Culture, Gender Equality, and other relevant subjects associated withExpo City Dubais pavilions. Deliver experiences that captivate visitors and foster active participation.

Visitor Engagement: Enhance visitor engagement through interactive and educational activities,ensuring high-quality experiences that align with the departments objectives.

Training: Undergo intensive training sessions prior to being approved to deliver all programs. Thistraining will ensure that facilitators are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to executethe programs effectively.

Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the Programme Delivery & Operations Manager andother team members to ensure seamless execution of educational programs. Provide feedback andreports on program effectiveness and visitor engagement.
