Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing, on behalf of a global manufacturing leader, seeks a Manufacturing Design Engineer (FreeCAD) for a full-time role in the United Arab Emirates. You will translate technical specifications into detailed 3D models and drawings suitable for production.

You will design and model components in FreeCAD, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, and maintain drawings and BOMs. The contract is project-based with potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in FreeCAD for 3D modeling and parametric design.
• Experience with mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of GD&T standards.
• Familiarity with CAD file formats and data exchange between systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical components using FreeCAD for manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from production and engineering teams.
• Generate and maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs.
• Perform design reviews to identify potential manufacturing challenges and propose solutions.
