ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Installation:

-Install and commission new air conditioning and refrigeration units within the hotel.

-Connect systems to water and power supply lines, air ducts, and other necessary components.

·Maintenance:

-Perform regular preventive maintenance on all AC and refrigeration units, including cleaning, lubricating, and tuning.

-Inspect systems and components to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

·Repair:

-Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning and refrigeration systems efficiently and effectively.

-Replace defective parts and components as needed.

-Test repaired systems for proper functionality and performance.

·System Upgrades:

-Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance energy efficiency and performance.

-Install and configure advanced control systems, such as smart thermostats.

·Compliance:

-Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

-Handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental laws and hotel policies.

·Customer Service:

-Interact with guests and staff to address and resolve any issues related to air conditioning and refrigeration.

-Provide clear explanations and updates on repair and maintenance activities.

·Documentation:

-Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.

-Complete necessary documentation for billing and regulatory compliance

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

-Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and components.

Industries Acceptable From:	hospitality industry
Role Specific Qualifications & Training:	EPA certification for handling refrigerants (if applicable). Other relevant certifications (e.g., NATE, HVAC Excellence) are a plus.
Languages Required:	English
Computer and Software Proficiency:	Familiarity with HVAC and refrigeration diagnostic tools and software; Ability to use specialized software for system calibration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Driving License:	NA
Travel Availability / Time Flexibility:	World Islands – Dubai / Very Essential
