Job summary

A fragrance and flavor company in Sharjah is seeking a Fragrance Sample Compounder to finish fragrance formulas, mix formulations, and maintain a clean workspace. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and have strong interpersonal skills. This role requires systematic organization and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Chemistry.
• Must be systematic and organized.

Responsibilities

• Finish fragrance formulas using roxane robot.
• Mix finalized fragrance formulations.
• Conduct tests as directed by perfumers.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace.
• Manage laboratory compliance and waste disposal.

We’re looking for Fragrance Sample Compounder who will be part of our growing team at Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Sharjah, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Finishing fragrance formulas coming from roxane robot by weighing the raw materials which roxane robot did not add,
• Mix the finalized fragrance formulations,
• Conducting the tests (trials) received from the perfumers,
• The Fragrance Sample Compounder is responsible not only for his/her own cabin but also for the entire laboratory,
• Keeping the raw materials on the shelf clean, properly organized and check regular on expiry date,
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space,
• Collecting laboratory waste in accordance with OHS regulations and disposing of it in an orderly manner in the waste disposal area,
• Maintaining compliance with company confidentiality,
• Returning the finished fragrances to the person who requested it,
• Providing his/her manager with recommendations for continuous improvement regarding the activities carried out,
• Fulfilling all duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her manager/management related to his/her duties.
